About Me

Bonsoir.
I’m a 21-year-old French scripter who was previously a builder.
I started my career on Roblox by building in 2019, and around 2020 I began scripting.
Now I’m seriously looking for jobs on Roblox.
Fan of the SCP Foundation and French history.

But let’s get to the point. My skills.

All my skills in detail:

Scripting Skills:

With 5 years of experience in scripting, I’ve developed a wide range of scripting skills, which I’ll summarize as follows:

  • I follow the Roblox Lua Style Guide as closely as possible.
  • If I don’t know how to do something, I know how to research and find solutions online.
  • I know how to use documentation to discover new methods or optimize existing ones.
  • I stay updated by checking the DevForum daily to learn about new features.
  • I know how to properly secure a game by using server-side verification with RemoteEvents.
  • Know how to use Parallel Luau
  • Know how to use the MicroProfiler and how to exploit Dump from it

Outside of that, I’ve only worked within the SCP universe (except for a few developer challenges).

Currently, it’s quite difficult to showcase my code, but I’ll suggest one thing:

This is where, over the past year, I worked as Lead Scripter. I was in charge of developing one of the biggest updates to the game. And I’m still working as now Senior Scripter (step down as Lead Script because of some internal situation).

The game is still somewhat laggy today (it’s because of the poor build optimisation), but most of the server-side code has been completely rewritten by me from the ground up. Previously, the game suffered from frequent server crashes. Now, the server handles the load much more reliably.

The goal behind rewriting the entire server-side code was:

  • Optimize performance to prevent server crashes
  • Clean up the code — previously, everything ran in only one script
  • Fix major mistakes in how the datastore was handled
  • Add much more gameplay content to the experience

As of today, these objectives have been completed.

Building Skills / 3D Skills

I no longer build like I used to — I’ve lost some of those skills but gained experience in optimization.

Today, I focus more on reviewing other people’s builds to see if they’re optimized or not, then either suggest improvements or do the optimization myself.

Most of the time, this involves:

  • Reducing the number of lights
  • Adjusting collisions
  • Reducing the part count

Over time, I’ve also acquired some basic 3D skills, including:

  • Creating simple 3D props
  • Editing meshes
  • Making very basic textures
  • Doing some mesh rigging
  • Doing animation (basic ones)

Others Skills

  • Like to do big fat event with deep lore behind with boss battle.

For information, I have done that one time on Site-43. The event was based on Ultrakill seventh layer and the Divine Comedy of Dante, the community really enjoy it. Here some screenshots of the event, and the continuation of the event :
