R6 to R15 to R6 shouldn't happen on AvatarUnification mode

Hey I don’t really know if it’s intended to be like that but I think it shouldnt be like that.
Today I wanted to try AvatarUnification Mode to help players who like using rthro bundles and ugc bundles to visit my R6 game without changing their avatar to fit with my game.
At the beginning I thought it was a good feature because I could see my own ugc bundle in R6!

After that, I tried other R15 bundles and it was good and funny.
And I wanted to make sure people who can be seen in R6 on their profiles can still appear in R6 in my game correctly. And it didn’t go as expected.
So I think Roblox should leave alone people who are already in R6.
Because if someone wants to join a R6 game using AvatarUnification with their own R6 outfit, they will be disappointed :

To be more clear, that’s me in R6 on my roblox profile :

And that’s me in game :

Expected behavior

I expect to see Roblox updating players with layer clothing and R15 bodies in R6 only, Roblox shouldn’t update the players who are already in R6.
Please fix this feature, if not I’ll preserve the players who have the R6 outfits only.

Sorry to bump this old topic, but to explain: the way the feature works (per the original devforum post here is that all users will come into the experience using R15. That enables them to use layered clothing, dynamic heads, and other features of R15. That’s the point of the feature.

If instead you want users who choose to have R6 avatars remain as R6, then instead of using the Adapter you would set the “Avatar Type” setting in “Game Settings” to be “Player Choice”.

As I recall, I had set R6 in Game Settings. I’ll check because if it’s already R6 and activating the feature forces everyone to go from R15 to R6 then it’s really weird and the problem with Player Choice is that my game is not made for R15.
