Here is what I build, it is old theme made so don’t get angry for because is so simply
I’m not much of a retro-style build guy, but here’s a like.
Thanks you! I u are relly good person
You’re welcome. A little kindness goes a long way.
Nice decent build on the race track there. Yea, its more suitable for a 8 bit retro video game, as what @asgm have said. Good job mate
Thanks you very munch for ur opinion! <3
It was made to be retro, like the others said. I’m not a fan when it comes to most 8-bit but this one was built really good!
IDK, I was bored LOL
but it is cool anyways!
I would try and make the walls a bit smoother around the corners of the turns. I’d recommend using a circle pixel art tool like THIS one to make the general outline of the turn, then making it thicker as you feel fit.
Next there is some weird clipping stuff going on with the walls by the hills.
It would look better to move the walls back on these hills so they don’t go through the road, and also hide the bit of track that goes outside the walls under the walls completely. In addition, it might be worth it to look into adding walls that also cover the hills to so the track doesn’t stick up over the walls.
And then for one last suggestion would be to make your grandstands look more even. The slip between the first/second/third isn’t consistent, and that just makes them look off. Having all the seats on the same slope would get rid of this. Additionally, adding some diagonal supports between the front and rear seats would tie everything together, rather than having the seats look like disjointed benches at different heights.
Tbh it is not bad at all some retro games are very pleasing to me and some are not. But overall it is a very good map, looking forward to play it!
Hi.
As a track builder, it may need improvement. It’d be really hard in any car to use this track becase it’s so short and small, that when you start off you have to pretty much directly turn left/right to get onto the slope. The slope appears quite steep as well, which may lead players to slow down upways and absolutely fly down downwards. Simply put, it’s not a driveable track.
The blocky border of the map isn’t even and looks sloppily put together. I think it’s best if you put more time into the map. PS, I’ve never seen a double dotted road. But maybe this is just me.
- Make it bigger
- Lower the angle of the slope
- Make it more curvy. Just because it’s an older style doesn’t mean it doesn’t have curves!
Goodluck I hope this helped
Looks pretty good for a blocky build!
My suggestions:
- Lower the slope angle, especially if you want it to be able to actually race cars.
- Make it bigger and add more turns.
- Make the turns less sharp.
- Don’t use cylinders for the seats. They look out of place in a blocky build. Also, try to get them in the same slope like @paul2448 said.
- Fix the road sections that are inside the rail.
- Add blocky cars.
I think you should make the track a bit larger.
