I’d love to get some feedback on the game. I’ve just posted it and I’ve noticed that people join and drop like flies. I can’t seem to hold 300 ccu for more than an hour.
I’d appreciate some feedback. I understand that the game is a quick and fast game. But how can I improve retention?
Hey, first off, I think the game looks really solid visually. The icon, thumbnails, gamepass icons, and UI are all well done—it gives off a polished vibe, which is awesome.
One thing I’d recommend is adding a simple onboarding or tutorial system for new players, and maybe having the ‘How to Play’ dialog pop up automatically when someone joins for the first time. Right now, people might be leaving quickly because they’re not sure what to do or what the goal is. Even something quick, like a guided pop-up or waypoints when they first spawn, could go a long way in keeping players around.
Aside from that, you could consider adding more features to keep players engaged, like small rewards for surviving longer or daily missions. Since the game is fast-paced, quick, achievable goals might help improve retention.
Overall, it’s a fun concept with a polished look—I think with a few tweaks, you’ll notice more players sticking around
Thanks. I appreciate it. We are doing a bunch to try and directly involve players to stick around. It is a little demotivating at times when you see 200 ccu and then drop 30 15 after 30 minutes maybe longer.
yeah i joined for a bit and i really didint know what to do it was really confusing i recommend an onboarding tutorial or just intuitive gameplay and ui i recommend adding animation for the saving mechanic as it felt really idk how to say it like cheap
Hi, me again. I was hoping I could get someones opinion on these analytics. It’s my first project that I’m sponsering and It’s hard to gauge what’s good, bad, the minimum and the best of the statistics.
The more i play the more game design issues i see, you should’ve asked for feedback way earlier.
Here’s a list of all the problems I see, game’s not too bad everything is fixable (these should increase the average session time by a lot and payer conversion rate by a bit):
Instead of having the game round based make it unlimited time meaning that players can join the raft whenever they want (put like a 10 seconds cooldown to be able to join again when they die) if everyone dies during those 10 seconds then just reset like you already do when everyone dies, but if they die they lose their survival time put a leaderboard for this, the difficulty increases the same as it is but put a max cap to it.
Increase the revive speed by x2 or monetize this as gamepass, make it feel good, there’s no sounds when you revive, put like a text player saved player with a cool sound and some coins reward.
Make the barrels client sided, when another player picks up a barrel that one barrel disappears for him but not for the other players, also speed up the barrel acquisition by 50% or x2 with a gamepass.
When a player tries to pick up a barrel when he can already build a raft show a gui popup asking the player if he wants to buy a “equip x3 rafts/gather multiple barrels” gamepass should be cheap like 49 robux or 79.
Make these changes quick tho lock in, work for like 12 hours a day till you fix all these, you will lose tons of money and day 1 and day 7 players if you are too slow.
