Ragdoll Tycoon - Update Ideas?

Hey,

im looking for update ideas for my latest game Ragdoll Tycoon

I have barely any ideas on what to add.
Would be great if you could give me some ideas, like what things to ragdoll on should I add?
And hows the balancement, do you get cash too slow or too fast?

try not to make it paywin
and stop adding pets (pets are overdone)
it wont load (old pc)
maybe i edit it when i get my computer back

Theres no problem with making it p2w, people can pay for cash like in every other game. If I remove that I will have zero income from the game.
There are no pets but i will add them soon, they arent overdone, look at the front page, 80% of the games there have pets.
Wdym by it wont load? The roblox loading screen or my loading screen?

Thatā€™s not right. You can effectively monetize a game without making it pay to win.

Seeing ā€˜petsā€™ in games completely unrelated to them are such an eyeroll for me. As @Qin2007 said, theyā€™re overdone. Every copy-paste cash grab game has them. Why? Probably because it gets children invested in the game.

thats a cool game. idk if i liked it though

heres what i had issues with

  • spawn wasnt interesting, felt compelled to leave at join
  • i had zero reason to ragdoll so i just stood around waiting for purchases
  • nothing to interact with other players (like ragdoll races lol)
  • literally completed game in 10 min without gamepasses
  • rebirths would be cool
  • sounds are global, so i heard other players buying stuff it was tilting
  • your boat dont work my g
  • the ā€œfindā€ could be enabled at game start to help new players

otherwise it was kinda chill, youre a good developer
would make map more compact, add rebirths, activity to ragdoll when waiting that gives money, and gamepass pop ups or put them in front screen

Your opinion, but I like pets and they can expand your game + make players addicted to your game. I could add 3 expensive pets and the visit length would go up because the players want them. And I donā€™t see a problem with getting children in your game, thatā€™s how roblox works.

Ok then tell me how should I make money if I remove all the currency purchases and all dropper gamepasses, 2x cash gone, auto collect would the only thing which could stay. Thats dumb lmao.
99% of the games on roblox, are kinda p2w. Every game where you can buy a currency for robux is p2w and I donā€™t see a problem. Let players pay if they want, whats the problem?? And no you cant really make money from a Tycoon if you donā€™t make it p2w, thatā€™s the reality. And like I said, thereā€™s no problem with making it p2w.

Woah hold on you can keep the currency purchases and that stuff. Just make sure it doesnā€™t give a massive advantage over those without gamepasses.

Iā€™m late to the party but that statement is wrong.

Iā€™ll take for example my game, in my game there is a currency called ā€œGoldā€ which you can obtain by either winning a match or by buying it with Robux, with this said currency you can buy weapons BUT I added a level restriction so a newbie cannot buy his way to the top with the best weapons. You can add developer products/gamepasses but be smart; think about the ā€œF2Pā€ players and give them an alternative to obtain the same perks as the ā€œP2Wā€ players.

If we take the example of your game, you could allow players to purchase the double droppers later on the game for in-game money.

Also, thatā€™s a really child-ish mindset. Itā€™s not because the others do that that you have to follow them. Justly, if you do not follow the ā€œmetaā€ and bring up original methods, peoples will be more interested in your works rather than someone else whoā€™s following the rest.

Tbh i dont really care if my games are p2w. It doesnā€™t make any difference if a tycoon is p2w or not. Theres no possibility to make money out of a tycoon without selling droppers or currency. Players donā€™t care if a game is p2w, at least no tycoon players do that. It makes no difference for them if someone is paying or not.

Tycoon players might not care, true, however, if you create a game on a whole different aspect such as PVP, ā€¦, it might be nice to consider how to manage your monetization and how youā€™ll do it.

Stop adding pets and focus on the optimization. I tested this game on both my PCs, my old one with a 730 and my new one with a 2080. Slow building animation so make that faster. Donā€™t make the game pay to win as it makes people want to leave. Maybe make the music a bit louder. Really boring spawn. Got cash a bit too fast at the start, super OP making me not want the x2 walk speed and x2 cash. Bit boring, but it is a tycoon after all.

Yeah the building animation needs to be worked on. The monetization is fine in my opinion, there are <5 Gamepasses and they donā€™t cost much. The currency purchases are needed for the game to survive.
Do you have any suggestions on what to add to make it less boring and the spawn better?
