Random hitbox popping/showing up

I’m sorry if this is the wrong place to put this topic but this is the topic closest that I’m allowed to post. So here it is…

I started making a house in Studio for a game I’m making and this thing that looks like a hitbox which I don’t know when it popped up started appearing. It didn’t disappear when I closed studio and came back. It kinda looks like that hitbox that appears when you select multiple objects with the selection tool.

How do I fix this? I certainly don’t want players seeing this when they’re playing my game.

There is probably a part in a distance that is grouped with your house, check all parts in the model.

No, the hitbox even appears when you create a new part.

Remove all plugins if possible and check if the issue persists.
Edit: you can also click the box and see what it navigates to in terms of where is it in the explorer.

I’m not sure if you mean turning off the plugins or actually removing them. I turned them off and so far the only plugins I’ve used is the F3X building, and then the stravant gap fill. It didn’t worked…

What happens if you clicked the box, and did you ever have or use free models?

I have not used a free model in this studio place. Nothing happens with the hitbox when you click on the part. But if another part comes near the houses, the hitbox expands to include that part. You can see this happening in the imgur

Can you show more videos on this issue cause its hard for me to understand it.

3 or more videos would be perfect with different scenarios that make this “event” occur

I’m not sure about the 3 videos, but I tried including all that really happens with the second video.
Also for some reason the quality of the video really drops when I upload it to imgur, idk how to fix that.

This definitely seems like either a bug or a plug-in issue, but as you said previously that plugins had no effect. I would just redownload studio, save any previous progress too if possible.

Yeah that seems about the way to go about it. The good news is actually that this doesn’t appear when a player plays the game, only appears in studio. Anyway I really appreciate the time you took to try to help me with this problem.

Oh you meant redownload studio, I haven’t tried it yet. But I will soon and i’ll let you know. thought you meant restart studio
