Rapier Combat
Been working on this combat for a couple of days. Attempted to make a simple yet, skill based combat.

There weren’t any users in my game that I could properly test the features with, so please correct me if I get any of my points wrong, I’m writing my assumptions based off the mechanics I played in solo mode and your screenshot.
It looks great, the hit animations from the dummy, aswell as the particle effects and parry mechanic could make for a great skill based game. If I had to make a suggestion though, maybe make wait time before using a parry again more longer. The parry lasted about 1.3 seconds (estimate), usually they would last around 5 in order to prevent spam, which would make it almost impossible to land a hit on someone without them parrying and hitting you back.
I was also thinking about making the parry system a longer cooldown but then I realized that you could get punished from spamming and the combat is suppose to be fast pace. There are other reasons that I left the cooldown to be short but those are the base premise that I had in mind. Thank you, I’ll consider increasing the time a little, since I could see it getting spammable.
