I’m @JuanGamerPlayz_RBLX (but you can call me Juan). Thanks to everyone who supported the Tool Synthesizer Kit! Unfortunately, due to some back-end coding issues, the plugin is now off-sale and will not be updated.
I appreciate all the support! If you still want to check out my work, take a look at my other creations on the Roblox Developer Forum or on the Roblox platform!
Thanks for Everything!
Even though this plugin is no longer available, I’ll keep making cool stuff. Stay tuned for more projects in the future!
It’s a nice plugin, but it’s not super useful. Most people would rather just write a short script to parent the tools to the players backpack when the proximity prompt gets triggered, than to have to go though the hassle of installing, configuring, and using this plugin. Also the ui is really bad. Good plugin, just doesn’t have anything really appealing that makes it better than writing your own short script.
Thank you for your feedback! Eventually, this model (not a plugin) was just to be a flexible open resource for those that are using it for their projects with simple mechanics in-game.
Furthermore, as it is in the first version, it can be improved! As the interface is simple, it is possible to change it to something stylish!
If you modified it to where the tools cost robucks or gold, that would be sweet… like it is a visual shop… then in game maps you could have different areas that have different tool shop givers.
And yes, I am planning to have the tool cost some little Robux while transforming it into an actual plugin… Soon enough, I am going to create another changelog providing further information of so as well as changing how to use the source in the primary topic.
cool, another thing with the next update is to include a .rbxl file or uncopylocked place, then we can more quickly check out your stuff…
but with that in mind, great job on the model and naming where things need to go!..
I saw it has 34 scripts… seems like a lot… anyway to make it more modular and like read from a table or folder contents to create what is needed when you add a new tool etc…
