RBLX/ai - Elevate Your Game with AI-Generated Icons and Thumbnails

If scripters/programmers were not so hard to get help from or expensive (most on both) … you might have an argument… but since we’re not all scripters… this is more than welcome.

We all have our fields… just like you’re likely not a UGC designer or modeller etc … you can at least script plus others.

Fortunately scripting is the bigger demand (so I don’t see why you complain)… and there’s not enough scripters “to go around” … which means there’s plenty of work for you out there.

Of course scripters don’t want this… they would like to keep a monopoly (so to speak - have your cake & eat it) … but that doesn’t help most new comers… and THIS is why Ai is a gift from Heaven/Roblox

Ai is here to help… and teach new comers.
I’m sure the Ai pattern maker or Ai Avatar maker have helped people scripters… so why not also Ai for scripters.

Some way or another… Ai has helped all of us in some field or another…
You don’t need to ask for it… and are not forced to use it… as it’s a service Roblox offers to keep developers …

Besides … Ai was never going away… so adjust.
Companies not using it … would be left behind.

I know plenty who are thankful for Ai.
There’s so many types… and scripting is only 1 of them.

If it’s chat gpt, then I completely understand. If it’s the roblox AI one, then I wouldn’t recommend

true, not just in the game development scope

im being haunted by the :sparkles: emoji

on an unrelated note, why does your response look like a poem :skull:

I can get that for programmers & artists

now that you mention it… funny

It’s gonna be irrelevant in another few years. Adobe is currently being slammed on the stock market for it, I can’t imagine it’s going to be to this level of craze for much longer. thankfully, good riddance.

You are not learning anything from a spoonfeeding machine.

It in fact does. If you can’t be bothered to learn something for yourself and expect an AI model to do it for you it shows that you do not care enough. You get a much better grasp around a concept if you do your own research and put effort in what you like.

I think this will be my last post in this topic. All I am doing is bumping this cashgrab to the top of the posts page.

I have quite a few problems with this, which others should probably be aware about.

  1. Spending Robux for off-platform rewards, or just off-platform is against TOS and is a horrible idea if you get scammed
  2. I have been sent quite a lot of botted messages directing me to RBLXAI (yes, the official website they linked above, and it wasn’t an embed swap), doesn’t seem like they engage in positive business practises
  3. There are plenty of safer alternatives, such as those provided by Microsoft, which can do the same thing for free if not better if you give it a good prompt.

I’d rather pay someone to make good art.

I don’t get this ai hype, I think it looks horrible (not yours specifically but just ai art in general). Also those prices are horrible. Ik ik a real artist is probably more, but you know someone put effort and their heart into it.

They UI looks really good though.

Also I do agree, if I see a game with a ai thumbnail, I know that game is horrible and that I need to avoid it.

Hey, I’ll address the points you made:

  1. Nothing is against the Roblox Terms of Service. We use OAuth 2.0 for Roblox users to securely login, and we do not give any kind of Robux rewards. As stated in a previous reply, Robux is only being used inside Roblox’s Services via our game to award them Credits inside of the place, which also awards them Credits on the site if their account is linked.

  2. I’m not aware of any ‘botted messages’? Could you please clarify and send examples/proof.

  3. You are incorrect, Bing cannot do the same as RBLX/ai. Bing does not make thumbnails, can only provide you 4 at a time and does not allow you to make variations of existing images.

Same here.
Maybe allow us to enter a game name and what type of game so it makes something like a logo or something that is on top so it looks better.

Also same here with the prices, especially Robux. 799 R$ for 10 credits (10 images at best) is not much for that price.

Looking forward to new updates so it can become better and better, and maybe in the future we will have real Ai games.

It’s not a tool, it’s a job replacer.

I also want to stop singing praise for Ai’s arrival… but interesting comment you made.
"It’s gonna be irrelevant in another few years".

The way I see it… and it is not a wish… but Ai is coming in even harder… and almost replace entire Dev teams. Why is this possible ?

  1. Ai is already creating games “on the fly” (creating game scenery as you play).
Though the imaging is still very poor & with errors as with startup Ai style - it’s will only improve.

  2. You can already have a audible conversion with Ai… and you can ask it to write code as it pops in your head… kinda like talking to your dev team… and make changes or improvements as you go.

  3. As all creations/inventions … Ai is still taking off (curve is exponentially climbing) … and the unimaginable flight is just that - unimaginable.

We are only seeing the -2 or 5% right now… and yes… it affects people… jobs… people who studied many years… and in many industries… will all get affected.

So no… it won’t be irrelevant just bcoz of a little stock market hustle/movement. - imo.
Some might not like technology advancing - but most do - and possibly until it affects them too… guess we’ll see … but it ain’t going away by a long shot.

its a tool though, this doesn’t necessarily replace jobs

yk what, lets just agree to disagree here, you seem adamant that AI will replace 90% of jobs

The children yearn for the AI slop.

Seriously though; Who’s payin’ for this? Soulless, corporate groups?

Follow up here:

Can you please clarify these ‘botted messages’ accusations. This is something I take very seriously and if there is people abusing systems on the website through botted messages, I would like to know so I can look into it.

Thanks

Okay? Why can AI do art? If AI can do art, what’s the point of hiring artists?

BOOM! Artists replaced with AI.

Let it be clear that AI can’t make art (in the graphic design sense). You need to engineer the prompt specifically to fit your imagination (hence just a tool). Heck, this might make new jobs for prompt engineers or “AI artists”. Controversial, I know. The point I’m trying to make is AI is just another major technological advancement, its just how it goes for tech innovation.

Plus AI isnt just Text to Image. It’s been used to assists us, humans in various tasks

Yes, but people still use it for art purposes, hense this product.

I received this on Discord, through a roblox developer server into my dm.

It should be fine to post since it includes the same URL that you have at the top. they even did the weird .com spacing which a lot of scams do to block captchas and stuff. I haven’t checked the pricing so idk if that’s accurate.

sorry had to reupload the image because something got cut off.

i feel like AI has become a new corporate buzzword, like “quantum” or “eco friendly”, it’s all sure to be less and less relevant as all technology related fads are

Thanks for sharing this.

To be clear, I have no idea who that is and they are not affiliated with rblxai.com. It’s even more weird to me that there is not any kind of ‘weird’ phishing link, and it’s just a bot simply advertising the website.

Unfortunately when you build a service for the public, you’re going to have people who create bots, fake accounts or phishing links.
