I have made this reactor explode, and how do you think guys? Does it look pretty realistic?
My reactor does have some numbers on it, which nobody has done it before.
The reactor was built according to real pictures of rbmk-1000 reactors.

By the way, I haven’t add the exploding sound effect. So don’t ask me why.
The green / blue / yellow / red parts look messy. You should just make all of the parts the same color.
That is what a real RBMK-1000 reactors looks like.
I love that you made the graphite blocks jump (they did actually jump as well in real life, due to the intense steam pressure building up below), the animations look smooth. I’d think about adding some smoke-steam coming when each block jumps up.
The explosion effect is cool, only disadvantage to it is the lag. In real life, the lid (forgot the name they gave to it, all I remember at the moment is the 3 parts of the roof being called ‘‘Masha-Nina-Katya’’) actually didn’t jump up that high. It jumped up but way lower as it was SUPER heavy. You might want to make the height lower. Perfectly nailed the tilt though, instead of having it fly somewhere, you made it tilted, JUST like in real life. That’s exactly how the lid is right now, and was, rods exposed, lid tilted.
Great job, as a person who has researched a lot about Chernobyl, watched the documentaries and read some books about it, I love it. Just tiny nitpicks from me.
The name of the lid is the UBS (upper biological shield)
