Have you ran it with administrator privileges? I’ve forgotten what I did, but when I used that program, I was able to add my Roblox Avatar and the Chocolate Milk gear to Garry’s Mod.

I don’t think I moved it out of the downloads folder and it could find Garry’s Mod after I think I gave it admin permissions.

i try to ran it with administrator privileges but i got the same error but i think it doesn’t work because my steam folder is not on my windows disk and i can’t move my gmod folder because my windows disk does not have enough memory

Sorry if my english is bad ^^

Oh, yeah… I guess the developer didn’t account for people that have their Steam games stored on a different drive.

II don’t have a computer at the moment that has Steam on D: instead of C:, but there are two ideas that I have for how to fix this:

  1. Run Command Prompt (Windows key + X then A) as an administrator then enter this command:
mklink /D "%programfiles(x86)%\Steam\steamapps\common" D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common

This may sound scary, but it creates a “symbolic link”, or a sort of shortcut to your actual Steam common folder. It makes it look like you have Steam installed in its default location (but doesn’t affect your actual installation).

If RBX2Source only checks that folder for games, it will see your actual Steam common folder.

  1. Alternatively, I could use the program on my computer and try converting Roblox avatars and gear for you, then I could send the converted GMod models.
