Overview:

It is a light Roblox Studio plugin that scans chosen objects (and children) for any property that has “rbxassetid://” and generates asset store links directly.

Why I Created This Plugin:

I was fed up with the inconvenience of downloading images in my game, having to copy the asset ID manually and then insert it into another link in my browser. This plugin does that automatically, which saves time.

How to Use:

Method 1 :

1. Select Your Objects: In Roblox Studio, pick the objects you wish to scan.
2. Click “Fetch from Selection”: The plugin will look for properties for asset IDs.
3. Copy Your Link: Copy the link you want to use and paste it in your browser.

Method 2:

1. Select Your Objects: In Roblox Studio, pick the objects you wish to scan.
2. Click your shortcut: The plugin will open and look for properties for asset IDs.
3. Copy Your Link: Copy the link you want to use and paste it in your browser.

Creating a Shortcut:

  1. Open Roblox Studio and go to File > Settings > Shortcuts.
  2. Locate the “Open & Fetch Selection” action and set your desired key combination.
  3. You can now easily open the panel and retrieve asset links without relying on the toolbar button.

This is so good for modifying textures! I love it

Actually, you can’t modify the links rn, you can just copy them in the clipboard. But I could make the link editable in the near future, good idea!

I was thinking more download the image for a texture on a mesh to modify it and reapply it
