Nice to hear more news about RDC 2023. Hopefully I get invited at least this year. I’ve contributed to more than 20 front page games and it would be quite disappointing if I don’t get invited.

Doubt I’ll be invited, but on the off chance, is there a +1 policy? I really can’t picture myself wanting to go to something like this without the person I am with, and I couldn’t find anything mentioning it.

What was the reason for shifting from a 16 years old + Chaperone system to strictly 18+? I was invited and attended virtually last year (I’ll be 17 at the time of this year’s event) and was looking forward to attending in person this year

Same case here, very curious as to why this happened. Would love a clarification about the reason, as a 17 year old it quite hurts as someone very excited to attend.

I attended last year in person and now you guys changed the age requirement. Im really disappointed that this change was made.

I checked out the fqa and it says both tickets are invite only. Makes no sence since the talks are really good and you don’t see them unless you have the ticket. If they are going to allow it at somepoint it will probably be after the rollout of invites are done

Hello! I was just wondering if the keynote would be livestreamed on YouTube like what was done previously with RDC2022 to allow anyone and everyone to view the keynote, even if they haven’t been explicitly invited to RDC2023. While Roblox Developers Conference is mainly for Developers, the keynote contains a lot of interesting information regarding the state of the platform and the future of the platform that not only affects developers, but the community as a whole.
Didn’t find anything in the FAQ that said anything about this, so I thought I’d ask here.

I wonder, what is the process they use to decide who gets invites? Personally, I think it’d be great if they invited people who aren’t developers specifically, like management/artists/music designers/etc. Feels kind of lame that because people can’t write code, or are in the top 0.1% of Roblox’s payroll, or have a million+ subscribers, they get screwed over. Also a missed opportunity in my eyes to invite novice developers to see what it’s actually like to be a dev, as just having people who already are on the front page and make pallets of money in a room over and over again seems… counterintuitive.
