New Areas
Polisher Conductivity Laboratory
Small Lab behind the Condenser Maintenance Control Room!
- Contains a new control panel to recalibrate the conductivity gauges manually.
- Grab a clean beaker, take it down to the polishers, and pour a sample of condensate water.
- Return your sample to the CIX Lab, set it down, place the probe into the water, and wait for an accurate reading. Then adjust the gauge accordingly! Be sure to pour your water out into the sink when finished.
Water Treatment Plant
New pumping station out by the lake!
- Controls are still a work in progress, expect functionality soon
- Includes SDM tanks outside and High-pressure osmosis System.
Administration Building
Filler buildings outside… For now.
- No interior, however, expect it to come in a future update.
- Bridge connecting the building to the facility [You can go inside the bridge]
Turbine Hall Updates
CST Pumping Station
- Brand New CST pump station located in the condenser hall, maintenance panel, and pumps are down there!
Feedwater Pump - Temperature System Panel
- Brand new Feedwater pump system, you must maintain temperature with the feedwater pumps otherwise a feedwater pump trip will occur.
Crane Controls
- You can now control the crane above the turbines! Unfortunately, it currently serves no purpose.
Condenser Rework
New Condenser/Cooling tower!
Condenser Information
Condenser Components and Operation
The condenser will now consist of two independent components: steam and air.
- Steam Component
- Steam will condense into water during the process.
- The Steam Jet Air Ejector (SJAE) recycles steam into hotwell water.
- When using CARs (Condensate Air Removal system), steam will be lost instead of recycled.
- Air Component
- Air can only be ejected using either the SJAE or CARs.
- A sniffer valve will allow air to enter the condenser, which may be necessary to increase pressure rapidly or during shutdown procedures.
Factors Influencing Pressure
Pressure within the condenser will depend on:
- The amount of steam and air present.
- The temperature within the condenser.
Factors Influencing Temperature
The temperature inside the condenser will depend on several factors:
- Source of Steam
- Steam injected via the bypass system will be hot, while steam from the turbine will be much cooler.
- Cooling Water
- The temperature of the cooling water will significantly impact the condenser’s overall cooling efficiency.
- Higher cooling water temperatures will require increased recirculation flow to maintain optimal cooling.
- Water Returning from the Condenser
- The temperature of water returning from the condenser will depend on the flow rate and the condenser’s internal temperature.
Cooling Tower Information
Cooling Tower Operations
- Water Recycling
- The cooling tower will recycle most of the water returning from the condenser.
- Some water will be lost during the process, which will be visually noticeable.
- Factors Influencing Condensation
- The amount of condensation will primarily depend on:
- Weather conditions, particularly temperature.
- Water temperature within the system.
- Maintaining Water Levels
- A makeup pump will be used to maintain a constant water level in the cooling tower to compensate for the water lost during operation.
New Controls
Additions to Controls
- Atmosphere Control
- Condenser Valve: Atmosphere will be added to this control.
- Cooling Tower
- A makeup pump with a valve will be added.
- Water level gauges and level change gauges will be included to monitor and manage water levels.
- Temperature Monitoring
- Condenser steam temperature will be measured.
- Cooling tower temperature and returning water temperature will also be monitored.
New Additions
- CST Drain in Unit 01
- New 75W Flashlight Gamepass (Nerfed free flashlight)
- You can pick up the new flashlight by using one of the givers in the turbine hall area.
- Functional water coolers sprinkled across the map
- New Ghostify System Anti Troll - (Can be disabled.)
- Plant Manager Office
- New hard hat models
- Removal of snow
