I wasn’t sure what category to put this in. I have a game idea that would be really awesome to see come to life, but I am not advanced enough to create all the features that I’m wanting.
The over all look of the game is a carpentry simulator where you will take orders, and build the items piece by piece to sell. By “piece by piece,” I really mean it. I want it to be like real life, so players will have to cut down logs into planks, cut the planks to the correct size, glue, nail, sand, polish, finish. I am thinking a blueprint of the ordered item should be used, and the selling price of the item should be based off how well the build matches the blueprint if that makes sense.
I also think that there should be a store which is where you will buy all of your wood, blueprints, glue, nails, sandpaper, polish + finish stuff. I sort of want tool progression as well, but it’s not necessary.
Visuals will be big in this project since I want each action to like like you’re actually doing it in real life. I think forced first person would be a good idea.
If anyone likes this idea and would be willing to create, or help create it (no payment), please let me know!
