I am trying to achieve realistic clouds for a game of storm chasing. The problem is that I dont really know how to do realistic clouds.I dont want a mesh beacuse the quality is awful so I thinked to use particles.I need realistic clouds for stuff like this
Any help is appreciated!
I’m not sure particles will make for the most efficient way to do this.
That’s all I can really say. Roblox hasn’t updated their own clouds since they’ve been released, and I honestly don’t know what you could do in this situation. The only way I see it possible is… Well, using meshes…
I have a lot of problems with my game beacuse of roblox updates.First it was the lighting update issue that make car lights useless and then this.I tested with particles and is really really good but yeah the problem was that my gpu turn on fire and my pc automatically turned off(2500 particles for supercell(cloud that I sent before)).So I think I will do it with meshes and put a graphic quality toggle for particles.
Roblox doesn’t really offer a way to make good 3D clouds. If you use particles you might have big withdrawals on performance and mesh’s might not be as fluid as you want them to be. Personally I’d use particles and maybe try and figure out some ways to optimize how the clouds affect performance. Finding a good texture will be key in this situation.
Try This: I got is from a cloud generator from the toolbox (I forgot who made it, please correct me)
It is pretty realistic, although it is pretty laggy. Let me know if you need anything else to add on to this!
