Realistic-Ish Stables

Hey. I made some stables and I would love some feedback.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I have completely forgot some major details! I am sorry.

Just realised I haven’t added a chimney. Ill be doing that.

EDIT: Im also making an entrance later.

I do like this but it does not look super realistic and a little low poly

Its not supposed to look that realistic to be honest.

Then why did you put the title as “Realistic-Ish Stables”.

Emphasis on ish. Also, low poly for me is smooth plastic and low parts but this isn’t low parts or smooth plastic. I know that my meaning is different from the actual.

Just wanted to say that it looks really nice. I love what you’ve made so far. The overall composition and colors all match very well.

I like the textured bricks, and how the house is raised off the ground. The yellow behind-the-window lights is also something I’ll have to use in the future, as it fits very nicely.

There’s only a few things I would change:

  1. Add an entrance to the stables, so horses can get in.
  2. Consider adding hay bales, or a water trough. Those can often be found in stables.
  3. Lastly, I’d recommend adding a staircase and a door on the left side of the house, so that it’s possible to enter the building.

You could even add local lights, such as lanterns, so that the place is illuminated better.

Nice work. Can’t wait to see what you create next. ^ェ^

Oh my god! That was exactly what I was going to do for the entrance. I will add an entrance soon and add hay bales (I already have those ready made for my display) and a trough soon. Thanks so much for your help!

Looks good btw Keep up the good work

I love it, this is a good start. However the rood looks like grass, and maybe you could add hay or something. More details would be good.

Thank you. The roof is a grass texture because it is medieval like a hay roof. I don’t know how to get a different texture other than grass as I am a very new builder. I am adding more details at the moment and I will keep you all updated. Thank you again.

Tomorrow maybe you could add a horse or a donkey into the stable.

If im good enough!

Love it even more (and wow you’re quick!), but I’d still recommend adding stairs as said before, as a ramp is awkward to walk up in real life, and I’d also consider changing it to wood. Something about wooden stairs is more appealing than a stone ramp.

Still looks nice either way, though.

Yeah, I tried wood but I found the colour to be really of. I am gonna be adding some steps but I couldn’t be bothered right now (Its quite late where I am) The reason im quick is because most of the things I added were props from other houses I made. Ill put a quick photo of one of the houses to give you an idea,

That looks awesome! The design of it almost reminds me of Roblox Studio’s template games. :+1:

I like the stables but I do suggest to lower the lighten for the windows.

I tried that before I believe and when it got any less bright it lost all brightness. Ill try put a transparent block infront of it.

Can you tell me where you get those textures for the bricks it looks semi realistic.
