Stunning! It’s hyper-realistic and super unique. Vouch!

This is better than 99.99 percent of the obby games

Thank you :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Still going to try and beat that .01%!

It is 0.01% lol :joy: otherwise the game would be better than 100.09% and that’s impossible, because my obby game is better :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

oops forgot a zero

Update: I have now fixed the checkpoints turning your character around.

This should make the gameplay more enjoyable and less annoying when you die.

Now having played (mobile), here’s my feedback. First of all, graphics look nice, there’s nothing wrong with using asset packs, as that is what they are meant for. My only critiques is that their are very few stages, and they are very easy. I’d recommend adding more, and increasing difficulty.

Wow, looks good on phone, have not tested it on a phone, only tablet.

I will work on making the stages harder, also just realized that the donate button is very close to the jump button, sorry that must of been a bad experience

Also how was the performance?

Thank you :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

No problem, honestly a great start, keep up the great work! (I was getting 30fps on max graphics - Samsung Galaxy S9+)

Oh alright, not terrible for graphics like that.

Still could be optimized better for smoother gameplay.

Thanks

Yeah, and on auto graphics I was getting 60fps, definitely not too bad.

I wouldn’t bother with support beams in an attempt to make a floating log realistic. I mean, how realistic is it to have a bunch of logs supported on beams in a forest? Its not going to be realistic to die every time you fall off of a log at the perilous height of 5 feet anyway. If you wanted to be an entirely realistic obby you’d need a lot more building and thinking of realistic obstacles, for example stones across a raging river, rope bridge with missing boards at deadly heights.

You could just as easily try to explain the floating obstacles with a story. Oh no, a witch enchanted the forest, you must reach the blah blah blah to save blah blah blah. etc.

I like how it looks. Its an obby with a scene and theme vs a bunch of bland single color shapes floating in a skybox. :+1:

Perhaps you could avoid some of the snarky responses if you had named it a Scenic obby. vs Realistic.

What did u do? I have the same issue when I spawn into my game.

I rotated the checkpoint 180 degrees (or 90 degrees depending on the position already)

That should fix it in your game, assuming your talking about checkpoints.

Yes is am, I will try the rotating the checkpoint. My apologies for not clarifying my issue.

Thank you.

What game are you talking about?

To make your ambient sound louder you could try a compressor effect. I used it to make my fire sound louder, like this:
