Two years ago, I started creating Realm of Rooms, I have took a bunch of long break from it so I have lost my directions on the things that I need to do.
That is why I need to hear some ideas and criticisms, starting from the loading screen, the vibes of the game itself, and to anything else.
I am trying to achieve a semi-realistic game, to make the player feel to be inside the game itself. I do not want it to be very triggering, but it can give chills. I also need to find a way to make the game less laggy if there are many maps activated all at once.
Addition: I also felt like games bit boring when you cannot find the real portal, I can’t think of anything to make it more immersing. Need ideas also.
My biggest suggestion is to lock it in first person. Also if you can improve some of the textures that would also be pretty nice. Rest of the games good though
Can you make it so that the camera moves like normal first person without using the right click? To disable for clicking guis, make it left control cuz most games use that.
Also make the stamina and health bigger and probably in the bottom right.
Some way to skip the morse code because if you rejoin you gotta wait through it again
You shouldn’t have to press q to enter a world, just walking through the portal would be better.
Store should open a bigger gui because its too small and overlaps the chat.
Also putting the camera on the monster when you first see it
Heres an example of the “putting camera on the monster” addition I was talking about. I think this in your game would be a good idea if you could figure out how to lol
thats just a horror game feature that gets me everytime
