Received Roblox Warning After Using Material Generator "URGENT"

While working on my Roblox game, I used the Material Generator to create an “Orange Juice Paper Box” texture. Later, when I attempted to upload another mesh, the upload failed, and an error message appeared: “Message: {“errors”:[{“message”:“User is Banned”,“code”:0}]}”.

Confused and stressed about the ban, I checked the Roblox website, which displayed a notification:

Upon investigation, I realized the issue might have been the “Orange Juice Paper Box” texture generated earlier; it included strange text and barcodes.

Here are images of the texture:

It’s weird to think that asking an AI to “generate an orange juice paper box” could lead to a ban because of the content it produced.

Update:
I appealed about the warning, and they denied the appeal…roblox moderation system is cooked?

it’s probably an issue from Roblox Side. Since most warnings are automated you again, probably contributed to a false positive and helped Roblox improve their Moderation System + AI generator

Roblox’s AI is probably not their own and they don’t have control of the images.
QR codes and bar codes contain information so they would likely be moderated like you’ve seen.
There was another post recently by someone with the exact same issue except they were the ones uploading the image. Image falsely banned my account - #3 by Adrenilane

I created a bundle texture with the ai. It was moderated once and I appealed successfully. But it just got moderated again even though it was already successfully appealed. It is quite odd you can be moderated for something Roblox itself created.

Now i have trust issues with roblox AI, I hope roblox developers take this issue as real because people might get banned because untrained AI they must find solution for this problem…

I have used the AI to create me pizza box for my game, and it seems nice, but weird when items that been made by roblox get removed by them…

I got a warn for “illegal content” for uploading this

I know, very illegal right?

Images generated by Roblox’s own built-in AI shouldn’t ever result in account moderation; this is bad UX. If anything, it should just decline the image and tell you why it was declined (not apply a warning to your account over something that you did not create).

You really shouldn’t be moderated in general for uploading seemingly innocuous assets. I see this happen all the time with avatar bundle creators, for doing something like including accessories, or the modesty layer not being prominent enough, in which case Roblox should just tell them what exactly needs to be adjusted on their bundle for it to be accepted, not outright ban them. It’s really stupid.

A similar situation happened to me before. If I had to guess, the image detection probably assumed it was a “no smoking” sign. In this case, appealing the image (Settings > Help & Safety > Violations & Appeals) actually worked for me.
