Hiya, a quick bug report for the devforum: I just received the ‘Welcome’ badge, which is listed as being for the first like you get on a post. However, I first gained it a while back, and have since gained a good number of likes on posts:
I’m not sure why this is, but it definitely shouldn’t be happening more than once. Can this please be looked into? I can provide more info if needed.

You only have it once? Keep in mind this forum uses a software called Discourse, and a good 99% of the bugs here are actually bugs introduced by Discourse, so you will want to request on meta.discourse.org to have it looked into if you can repro it there as well. Personally it’s not a big deal.
Sorry, may have been better to go to Discourse about this, but the devforum does have some of its own stuff on it. And yes, I only have it once, but I got told I’d just received it twice. It also says it was granted 13 minutes ago (i.e. overwrote the original granting).
DevForum indeed has its own stuff, that is either because admins configured what Discourse allows them to configure, or it was implemented through a plugin. Making new plugins for a bug fix is a huge waste of time and resources though
Yes, but it says ‘Granted 14m’ - I first got it a long time ago. I assume the second time I ‘got’ it it was overwritten.

You should change the name to, “Welcome badge notification received twice.”
Discourse only awards badges in public categories. Since many of your posts with likes are in #development-discussion, a private category, it’s possible that the first “Welcome” badge you got was lost after the thread was moved. If that was the case, you received another one the next time you posted in a public category.
