Outside of other physics changes, which I am aware there is a new PlayerController beta that is going around found here: New Humanoid Physics Controller - Beta . This issue seems to be causing our models to clip through terrain at hip height. It also causes players to phase into the ground in certain instances which in our case can be game breaking at times.
Thank you for reporting this issue.
Just to clarify, are you encountering this behavior while using the new physics controllers? Or is this issue occurring when playing the published place?
This is in a live build of the game, and it also occurs in studio. All default humanoid settings are present in this model outside of Hip height which has been adjusted.
I was not able to reproduce this bug using standard parts and characters, and also with different HipHeight values.
Could you share a place with the bug and include steps to reproduce it?
Hello, just checking back in on this - @asmanwoks are you still able to repro on your side and could you share a place file and steps? Otherwise we will close this for now. Thanks!
It looks like it still is occurring, testing it in the same position.
Our models are larger and still run off of basic humanoid
The only thing I can think of is that is different is we disable most of the humanoid states to prevent tripping/ragdolling
