I’ve been making for a couple years now, but only on a computer for less than a year.
This is one of my favorite tracks. I like to compose songs that sound like a video game sound track.

Love it, as someone who doesn’t really know much about music I wouldn’t consider my point of view to be important though I think:

  • The high notes are a bit…too high I guess? There’s not much build up for them, they’re just suddenly loud and bassy(?) and not something I expected based on the rest of the song
  • Don’t really think the sounds around 2:30 fit the song, I think it’d be better without them imo
  • I also think the song goes on for too long, given the repeating parts

This is really great though and I’d love to see more from you in the future :>

Hey, I’m a fellow composer too! My soundcloud is Escamentia.
I haven’t uploaded in a while because I am planning on dropping a 20 song album on there soon… >:)

Anyway, I’d say this song is pretty good. I actually liked 2:30, I thought it was creative. I could also hear all the details in the percussion and stuff.

The intro is a bit high pitched, but rather than change the frequency of the piano, you could just add in sounds that are lower pitched to balance it out. I’m a big fan of adding ambient sound effects to my mixes to do this, but something like a bass or pad would work too. I think the former would sound really good on this track though!
