Recently Studio crashes to desktop a lot more than usual

This is a bit infuriating because it probably happens around 1/3 of the time every time I run a new studio session. Smaller TC games are less likely to get this error (but can still happen). My main game has 3 places inside and is the one that is the most likely to happen. I just have to keep trying hoping it doesn’t CTD and some miracle it finally lets me in.

These are the log files that were created when the crashes happened. I recognize the error “Unable to open the place. Please restart your application and try again. If you continue to encounter this error, please contact customer service.”. This doesn’t even show anymore (I don’t remember the last time it showed up now) because all I experience is just straight crash to desktop.

There are no DMP files created*. Game place is PWNED: Aeternae Memori - Roblox but again, it happens to mostly all TC related places so I don’t think it’s just this game in particular.

so I have this a lot too but I go onto Roblox Home then Create and click on the place, it will give me that error but it will open a window like what you screenshot and I just click on the place and it works fine. not sure if it work for you tho but might as well try?

Yea I actually had to do that to open my place correctly. We shouldn’t have to do that at all.

yea I know it isn’t ideal but after a few days of this it went back to normal for me so it could possibly do the same for you. I think we should just be glad we aren’t COMPLETELY locked out of studio.

Is ROBLOX Studio up for date on your computer?

Follow the bug report requirements and send your dump files privately to the listed group if they exist. Your log files should probably be private too.

Thanks, there was no DMP files created but I’ll send the logs to the mentioned bug group.
