Hello developers. I was browsing developer forum and came across some recruitment post. I have noticed that these posts are unlocked which surprised me since back in November, they always auto lock.
Can someone please clarify if this is a bug or it is intentional?Thank you
I hope this isn’t intentional, because there is a way to bypass this by posting in for example #collaboration:portfolios, since topics there don’t get closed, then moving it over to #collaboration:recruitment.
Oh it is? Why am I seeing this now then? If this is not intentional because people will have been doing it for a long time.

I hope that it stays unlocked, so long as they can prevent bickering from going on in this category.
I am not affirming that is what is happening, I am just saying that is a thing and that I hope this wasn’t intentional, especially since the devforum categories were restructured a bit, so it is totally possible while admins were doing that they accidentally made it so topics don’t close.
Same here, having it unlocked is much more helpful as I don’t want to constantly be sending out DM’s.
This change was unintentional. Possibly a recent Discourse update that is preventing them from automatically closing. Changed it so only the topic creator can reply from now on.
