Redline: Overdrive Devlog #4

I’ve made more progress on the game with laying out the 4 USA circuit tracks, I have 3 more tracks to layout for the USA consisting of 2 Point to Point tracks & a Marathon track before I move onto Europe. I am starting by doing the roads but I will come back to adding in details such as buildings, environment props, sidewalks, road markings, terrain, etc. These are far from finished since I’m still working on these.

I will come back to them but these track designs will only be used for both the race & pileup tours but the tracks will have a complete redesign for Free Roam mode as in free roam mode all track barriers will be removed and the whole map will be accessible. I will be doing the same method with the tracks for the Europe, Asia & Oceania regions.

Thank you. I will keep working on it but I will create another devlog when more development gets done. I’m happy with how it looks so far even though there is lots more work to do.

Another thing I forgot to mention is that traffic and AI racers are also two other things alongside the UIs that’ll need to be done but changed depending on the event and the tracks that they take place on.
