Reproduction Instructions:
- Open the Studio Console, the Studio Command Bar and the Studio Properties Window
- Write “print(game)” in the command bar and press enter
- Click on the place name in the Console, when the game’s unpublished then it should be something like: “Place1”
- Then a few warnings regarding the “PrivateServerId” and the “PrivateServerOwner” will pop up
- The Viewport will have immediately degraded performance (Frame Drop from 100 to 50 or even lower)
- Deselect the DataModel, so it won’t be shown in the Properties window anymore → Frames should return to normal again
(A video about this case can be found below)
This bug happened to me in multiple different studio sessions before, doesn’t matter what place file I have open.
Current System information:
- CPU: 13th Gen Intel Core i7-1355U
- GPU: Intel Iris Xe Graphics
- Memory: 16GB
(Previously Tested this bug with another system which had a 9th Gen Intel Core i9 with 16 Cores, a RTX3070 Ti and 32 GB of Memory, and it resulted in the same issue with frame drops from 240 FPS to 30 FPS)
