Reflection stopped working

Hey Devs!

So I’ve been placing copied road with reflection (not actual reflections, i just used transparent glass with highlight) and then I realized it stopped reflecting. So i clicked the road and it started reflecting, but as soon as i moved my cursor out of the part it stopped reflecting.

I have no idea what i did or why this happens.

I will be really glad for any comments on this!

(I also made a quick clip so you can see what i mean.)

Also, I’m sorry if this was confusing but I don’t know how to write it here in other way

Great day!

You have the Transparency on 2…
Transparency should be between 0 and 1, set it to 0.8 than it should be work!
i hope this is helping!

I think the transparency of your part is set to a value that is greater than 1. Also, someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought that the reflectance property was deprecated a while ago?

Edit: Another thing you might want to do is mess around with the brightness setting in lighting. That setting can affect how the sun is reflected off of parts, but it also depends on the material of that part.

Hey, I just tried it out. It helped a little. Still doesn’t reflect tho. Just slight light. I used to have it on transparency 20 too and everything was fine.

I actually have no idea what happened. I copied the part where it works perfectly, paste it and it stops working.

Highlights are limited to only 31, enabled or disabled
You can fix this by grouping all of the reflective parts, and parenting the Highlight to the group to make it apply to every part

I tried creating new reflective block, and now i feel really stupid, but what am I doing wrong? Why does it keeps disappearing? (Video uploaded to cloud due to size: 6662D33F-995F-4765-9D81-85DE29382C20.mov - Google Drive)

It stops rendering new ones if there are 31 Highlights already adorned/parented to Workspace

Thank you so much! You helped me a lot! Also thanks for the photos. It was much more understandable for me as a rookie.

Thanks again!
