Reflections in cycles?

Hello I’m making a GFX and I’m wondering how to add in Cycles NOT
Eevee I’m trying to switch to Cycles cause now I see that it has better quality.
Here are some past GFX I have made with Eevee to show the reflections I want.
keep in mind I’m still a beginner

If you want reflections, I think you can adjust the part’s material property, adjusting the roughness and metallic to the lowest, but this will create some lag so you could try and adjust the limit of max light bounces. Setting it to 3-4 wouldn’t make a difference when comparing with 12+.

Thank you!
It worked!
Ill try light bounces to but turning metallic to max worked!
Also how do I close a topic since this is solved?

Np, also keep in mind that Cycles rendering could take a long time if you don’t optimize it, regardless of you have a high end or Low end PC. Tons of tutorials about optimizing cycles rendering time are on YT, here’s some advice:

Always get the latest version of Blender, in the latest version AKA 2.92, it improves the time of rendering in Cycles rendering.

Set the max of your light bounces to like 3-4.

Set your final render number to like 64-128. There’s no difference when comparing it with 50K+ - 20K+.

Set your final render resolution image to a lower number. This HELPS a lot.

Hope these tips help!

Well I get blender from the microsoft store so its always up to date and i used to use Eevee
cause it was faster and i thought it was better also i use about 200 samples for the render I’m making
and usally takes about 5 min for the one I’m making right now to fully render so I can see what it looks like.
Also I use the default render resolution.
Ill try the things u mentioned and thanks for the help!
Happy developing!

also you should only be using specular (Increase this higher) and roughness (Increase this lower) for general reflections. Dont use metalic unless its for water materials/metallic objects.
