Fixes issue where some Workspace properties didn’t save during Team Create.

FINALLY (hopefully)! This has been plaguing a couple of teams I work on with the IKControl constraints beta. Now we can finally turn this on and get testing.

Thank God that Team Create thing got fixed. Disabling retargeting each time when opening up a game got tiring.

To be clear, what specifically are you referring to as broken? I of course see the character in the ground, but is that:

  1. In regards to the release notes entry you posted (this says it’s fixed, but it’s not)
  2. Something related to GroundController (I’m trying to create a custom character controller, and trying to do stuff with GroundController gives me this output)
  3. In regards to the new physics controllers as a whole

I’ve seen that it does not work in R6, but it does work in R15. This doesn’t make sense, as this whole system is supposed to support any type of character, including whole custom ones. So I’m a bit confused.

The PrimaryPart of the character when R6 and when R15 is the HumanoidRootPart as I’ve observed. At first I thought it was because it was the head, but my scripts set it to the root part automatically.


I really do have hope for all this though. Once it’s perfect and can completely replace the old character controller, it would be very powerful! It’d especially help me create my own character actions like wallclimbing, walljumping… the other cool stuff. It’s terribly complicated and stressful to make as I constantly run into bugs with that stuff.

At last, the Team Create retargeting bug has been fixed; nobody knows how many times I’ve pressed the workspace’s retargeting setting.

I know this got responded to already but I want to mention when a release note says “Pending”, theres a good chance the FVariable behind it hasn’t been turned on, or some other tracking ticket from their internal side hasn’t been resolved. I’m not completely sure how Release Notes tracks features but this is my educated guess.

Any updates on when Byfron/Hyperion will recieve a fix to stop false-flagging background processes? Have been unable to play ROBLOX at all for ~2 months now due to it.

Can someone clarify what this is? More specifically, what in the vehicle camera was changed?

You should either create a bug report or DM Bitdancer with a crash dump, and usually they’ll be able to tell you the program that’s causing the crash. Unfortunately, it’s not something that they can just stop detecting, it’s the programs people use that act suspiciously.

true, but 690 is still very far away, we wont see it until late 2024 or 2025 :frowning:
