Release Notes for 670

Here are the release notes for 670.

Fun trivia: April 24th is the birthday for Kelly Clarkson and golfing prodigy Lydia Ko.

Happy birthday @koob85, @hyde12345678, @blanka, @FlikterLinked, @Russian_TacoX, and @resqu!

Let me know if it’s your birthday today and I’ll add you to this exclusive list (terms and conditions apply).

T&C

I will not be verifying birthdays. Offer is for replies made today only (4/24) and will be added at my discretion.

It was my birthday like 12 days ago, does it still count?

Its not my birthday but can I be added to the list just for fun?

For the curious: the ImageButton properties mentioned are mutually exclusive with the now legacy ID properties that have the same name. Kinda irrelevant but fun trivia regardless.

its my brithday today! what did you get me for a gift?

I think it’s so we have new Content properties, in case if you want to use something like EditableImages with them…?

May the sandbox escape fix all the way from 663 be bumped up the priority list? Been waiting desperately for it

Today IS my birthday! To-totally so!

These are some nice QOL changes but I’ll miss the old studio logo…

We’re gradually migrating all the asset reference properties over to the Content type by deprecating them and replacing them with “XContent” ones, to support EditableImages/EditableMeshes among other things.

It’s my birthday today (totally)!

I’m happy about the script editor fixes when Next Gen Explorer Beta is enabled.

What exactly does ContentProvider:RegisterEncryptedAsset() and ContentProvider:RegisterSessionEncryptedAsset() do? They have no documentation.

I saw it in the update logs and also got confused but what I think it means is that by default players will ragdoll on death rather then fall apart

Best fixes of all time!

It is NOT my birthday today!

Will we be every getting a function/property which would allow us to get the total available amount of memory?

I’ve also noticed this, does this mean that we could be getting an official ragdoll support? And if so, will it be available for both R6 and R15 or will it be a R15 only feature?
