Release Notes for 692

Hi everyone, I’m here with the release notes for 692. Yay.

Did you know baby rabbits are actually called kits? How cute is that! If I didn’t already have a very high maintenance dog (he’s a basset hound), I wouldn’t mind having a kit as a pet.

What’s the process for things making it into release notes? Feels weird that “N/A bug fix for unreleased product” could make it in because they’re clearly written by humans.


I cannot explain why without being bullied but yes, I did know that.

Allows for nested pseudo instances such as ::UIStroke::UIGradient.

What does this mean?

With the UI Styles feature, there wasn’t a way to get a gradient onto a UIStroke pseudoinstance that was created through styling as far as I could tell. This should be a fix/improvement to that

Huge W for emissive maps. Advanced command bar also looks interesting, but it unfortunately has pretty bad contrast with widgets in the background currently.

time to sleep peacefully knowing that emissive maps are finally here

I wonder what the advanced command bar will entail :eyes:

Do interpolated strings still transpile into :format namecalls? I know it’s in case someone reassigns string.format, but can’t the compiler determine when that happens and optimize the namecall into a fastcall?

What are the flags needed to enable it? :eyes:
