My dog turned 5 years old over the weekend and his muzzle is starting to turn a bit grey. I told him he’s not allowed to keep getting older and that he has to live forever. If you have a pet, give them a hug and kiss for me.
Our dog Ogi had his 14th birthday recently. He sleeps more often and you have to speak a bit louder for him but he still has the same spring in his step when he tells us that it’s time to play.
Significantly improves performance for large filter lists that use ExcludeInstances or IgnoreInstances, with up to 10x faster performance than FilterDescendantsInstances when using 10,000 instances in ExcludeInstances.
I wonder if this means actually making the filter list used in the raycasting process/so its fully ignored, or just speedups with the internal read/alloc process
I was wondering the same thing? - Maybe there’s intention to allow us to define our filter lists without enforcing descendants as well. Hopefully we can then do something like this.
FilterDescendantsInstances + FilterType is being superseded by IncludeInstances / ExcludeInstances soon. Better ergonomics for the common case and you can specify include / excludes at the same time that way.
Yeah and the new const keyword some people were excited about actually seems to be already functional but just without syntax highlighting and a proper error message for reassignment attempt
