The original game has a 89% like ratio while the remake has a 63% like ratio, despite both games having very similar gameplay. (Both games are owned by me)
I’ve also encountered more negative feedback on the remake than the original.
Why do you think people dislike the remake much more than the original?
Note: most of the remake’s players didn’t play the original.

I personally think that the remake looks a bit too childish, older people dislike the remake for a similar reason they dislike cocomelon or other nursery rhymes kids channels. I’ve also looked at the analytics and saw that the retention stats for older people are lower, but I can’t really find how big of a difference that is since most of these “adults” are kids who lie about their age.
