Removal of Parental PIN

Alright, so I guess most of people has already gotten the letter.

Who thought it would be a good idea to remove parental PIN? Cause fr, it’s a life saver sometimes.

I don’t have any restrictions on my account since I’m an adult, but I’ve always had the PIN on. It’s a nice security feature to have, and it brings peace to my mind to know that if anything should go wrong, I still have that 1 thing to save me.

What is people’s opinions on Roblox removal of this?

Also development wise, it’s nice to know that my account is at least a little bit safe so people can’t swoop in and change the password, and take my account. I know I can get it back, but it’s just a lot of work, and I always end up loosing something…

But it made me wonder, if I have a 17+ account, but choose to use the parental control system, and just give me max permissions to do everything, how would that affect my account, would I still be restricted in any way, and will it keep my account more safe?

You either didn’t have PIN enabled on your account or you didn’t check the email associated with your Roblox account.

Oh yeah I don’t have a pin enabled.

To my knowledge, it seems like some people gets it later than others as well. But yea, if you don’t have PIN enabled you might not get it.
