Yes, in my opinion user-created ads should be removed, unfortunely, most ads are clickbaity, wrong and sometimes even straight up violate tos rules, plus, having ads in every corner of the website is not a great sight, like for example this ad:
This is obviously a fake, clickbaity ad.
So, there’s 4 options right now:
- Remove Ads: This is the most extreme option, has it will cut down on ROBLOX revenue
- Agressive Ad Filter: All ads most be checked Manuallly by a admin, not by a bot, as those ads will be proudly shown right at the start page.
- No user created ads: Self-explanatory, google ads will still be shown, but user-created ads are gone for good. If roblox is feeling lazy, this option is the best.
- Do nothing at all: self-explanatory.
In my opinion, 2 and 3 are THE best bets we have right now, this will help roblox modernize and be more attractive.
if user ads are removed:
Sponsored games will be the best way to advertise the game, it’s subtle, yet effective, and catches the eye. maybe even not saying they are sponsored at all will help.
