As a Roblox user/developer, the Popular Near You sort is not useful to have on the Games page as it is mostly just repeating games that are already seen in sorts that appear earlier on the page:
Obviously the games will likely be different from person to person, but I don’t think this should be a sort on the Games page for the following reasons:
(Note: I live in Asia, not the US, so games that I see may not be the same as the games seen by the US audiences.)
- It isn’t something that visitors to the site see as one of the first categories. (Popular and Top Rated are the highest, and therefore the first thing that new players view)
- Most of the games are already part of the Popular sort, eliminating the need for them to be shown again in this sort.
