Removing bevels from the player character

Me and a friend are working on a small game where the enemies have a blocky look, this means a square head and sharp edged limbs. (Picture below)


We’d like to make the player fit in more which would also work well with armor.
Is there any way to achieve this effect? I know you can make custom character models but that would mean having to animate everything and we’re not very good at that.

It kinda just seems like an R6 character but more blocky. Just get an R6 character make the roundish limbs invisible and weld the limbs together. That should make it so you don’t need to redo animations.
