Render Perform and Present functions are too intensive?

Present function in Perform takes 20ms to run which drops the framerate.
What’s this? Happens to many of my friends. Happens at any place.

Steps 1/2/9 are not entirely fulfilled and could be helpful to add. The title and OP do not describe any issue, it just seems like it’s a question on what these things are right now, and I don’t think that’s what you really mean.

I do not know what’s going on besides that those two functions are dropping the render framerate. Since when? No idea but it was happening 4 days ago as well.

The thing is, I’m not sure if it’s even a bug. It doesn’t seem like it.

Are you using many Unions or Meshes by any chance?

It is likely that present displays the calculated render in the player window. Perform on the other hand I am not entirely sure.

It happens at any place.

And @woot3 present is a function in perform group.

@Oseday: Could you upload a microprofiler dump so that we can take a look?
Perform submits work to the GPU, whereas Present waits for the GPU to finish rendering of the previous frame.

Alright, how do I get the dump out? Where are they saved?

In your home directory I think.
