Reparenting children of selection with command bar will give them a permanent studio highlight

  1. Select a parent containing Baseparts.
  2. Write a commandbar command to reparent all the childrens parts
  3. Execute the command while you’re still selecting the parent
  4. All reparented parts will be permanently highlighted.
I have not found anyway of removing the highlight other than duplicate it and destroying the original.

Also quick addendum: This doesn’t require the creation of some new instance, even a command as simple as changing it to a new existing parent will also cause the bug.

I’ve been having this issue for months now, and I use the command bar to do a lot of organizational tasks. This can be a serious problem when I’m reparenting super complex models, because it can take a fairly long amount of “Not Responding” time for Studio to duplicate it.

We turned on a fix that should resolve this issue. Can you verify if this is still happening?
