Embed Roblox’s new Creator Dashboard into the old /develop page

[:file_folder: Install/Files]

Why?

I have always used the /develop page on my day-to-day work so I’ve gotten used to always being on the roblox.com site.

I love the new Creator Dashboard, but I hate that I have to leave the environment I’m already in to manage developer assets, and etc.

With that I created a really simple extension that uses iFrames to embed the new Creator Dashboard onto the old /develop page.

It’s pretty cool as all navigation throughout the Marketplace, Talent Hub and Documentation will also remain in the embed.

Just so nobody else has to poke around, it looks to be (currently) safe. v1.0.0 is identical to the (5 month old) content shown on the git page.

(just noting this down because it’s generally not the best practice to be installing random unpacked/non-webstore addons without verifying they’re safe in one way or another, especially for Roblox’s case, as that’s a relatively common phishing method)

To be honest I’m pretty surprised this is just a simple iframe, I thought Roblox would have blocked that off, since I get that with some websites.

Either way, I’ll probably install, since it is just easier having everything in one place.

Keep up the good work!

Its safe. Very lightweight extension, you really didnt have to make a whole github repo for this though.

make it a extension please,

It is an extension? Not sure what you mean here.

he sent a github link, which could possibly mean he should be making an extension…

It’s already an extension though, just unpack it.

You can also load packed if I’m not wrong?

I’m confused whether you’re asking it to be on CWS? I’m pretty sure CWS charges a $25 fee like the Play Store to set up a developer account.

I’ve been working on publishing it to CWS as I already have a developer account. As of now it is still pending though.

Should be pretty easy to just unpack the extension and load it through the Extensions panel. All instructions on GitHub.

Can you make an extension that does the opposite? I’d be looking forward to that.

This is a great extension, but I don’t see a very good use case for it. I’d prefer it to add to the current creator dashboard, such as adding the ability to download versions of assets.

In addition, the create page does not fit the theme of the website.
