Let me start off with an example. Before you go yelling that it’s my own game, calm down: I know my own games the best so it’ll be most clear that way. Survival 303 has a relatively consistent server size: about 50-70 people during the day in the USA (where most ROBLOX players are consolidated). This means that a significant group of people think that it’s a quality game and want to play it over and over. These kinds of games never really see the light of day on the front page. This is kind of upsetting, because it’s quality content and deserves more attention. I know a lot of game devs get the same feeling with their ‘cult followed’ games. They want to see it get front page attention, but it seems to be solidly placed on the brink instead.
My suggestion is this: add a new game sort labelled something like ‘Replayable.’ The system sweeps through data collected in the already-existing developer stats, using a fairly simple algorithm to detect whether or not the game has a similar number of visits day by day, but the max consecutive player size still falls under a certain amount. 25 or so of these get picked randomly and put in the sort, exposing games that are definitely quality to everyone.
Just a thought. I’ll probably refine this as time goes on.
I like this, and my comments about it are in the link below :>

There could be ranking based on average playtime? I’m assuming the games with a constant and small number of people have a long ingame average playtime…
Would this not basically be equal to the most popular section, except that it would be over a longer timeframe like a month?
Basically the most popular section, but including only the games that actually stay popular over time. Every day record the hours spent in the place total. Figure out the ranking by taking the average over the last N days. Or take the median to ignore spikes of popularity since thats not what this list is for.
Your game still might not be at the very top (im sure there are games that are on the first page and stay there and thus deserve a place on this list too), but it would have a permanent place somewhere after.
