Replica of GTA V Location

Created a replica of the “LS Customs” from GTA V (Mod shop for cars) Why? Not sure to be honest, it was around 1AM or something, and I couldn’t sleep and was playing GTA V and just randomly decided to create a replica, took me around until 11AM without any sleep, eventually fell asleep shortly after, but here was the end result haha.

I didn’t make some of the models inside of the shop and maybe a few things on the outside, but I pieced all of it together, applied textures etc (I didn’t create a lot of the decals such as logos/branding etc) :- P

This is the original from the game

It looks fantastic! I would personally improve on lighting, and use shadowmap (if you aren’t). Love the work!

Much appreciated both of ya! :- )

[EDIT] I just realized what you said was that the picture was from the game. I was so blown away at first. But yea, the outside part is a bit disproportionate compared to the real thing. The two garage doors should be closer than how you have them. The stairway also is right at the corner of the building and as you can from yours, there is extra wall before the stairs would hit the corner. Basically, the proportions just need to be adjusted. Good work.

Hello there,

Way to go! I feel like you’re seriously in the GTA V Map!

It’s so nice! My only comments are:

  1. Improve the lighting, you could use the realism plugin

  2. Change the interior floor material to something that reflects the light. You could use the smooth plastic material (which reflects light), and add a concrete texture, so it will look like an actual garage floor

  3. Change the scaling. This is quite hard to explain. Your build is a bit too wide in comparison to the GTAV Los Santos Customs. Especially the outside.

However, as a build it really looks fantastic! Keep up the good work!!!

Thanks for the feedback regarding the lighting and reflectivity; on top of that, thank you all for all the positive feedback! :- )

And yeah haha, I notice what you mean that with the proportions I was too far into it by the time I realized … haha

I wouldn’t even go with a realism plugin. It’s much easier to fine-tune it yourself. Gives you more control.

edit: easier, isn’t exactly what I meant. It is much more work, but it’s easier in the sense that once you learn it, you will be able to fine-tune everything to your needs.

It looks amazing! My only suggestion is:

  • To make the floor of the inside andthe roof blend a little more with the walls

But other than that, it looks amazing!

Woah. Ive tried but failed before. Not really a designer, more of a scripter. Im trying to make the whole game tbh. Anyway, keep up the great work!

It looks great, it’d be nice to see how a full city would look like.

You should make more if Los Santos. I love that game and want more.
