The replicator is a plugin I have created that makes it super easy to copy, duplicate, and replicate. Currently, this plugin only supports Models but, I do plan on updating it soon with support for baseparts and more.

What exactly do you mean by replication? It’s somewhat of a reserved term on Roblox to refer to replication between server and client.
More appropriate and specific terms would be copying, duplicating or cloning I’d imagine.
The definition of “Replicate” is:
make an exact copy of; reproduce.
Also Replicator just sounds better as a name, but I do understand that replication somewhat has another meaning within Roblox.
So it clones a object. I don’t think there is really a point to that. I always clone object by simply pressing CTRL + D. Gets the job done well
More then clones it, if you do CTRL + D you then have to spend time lining the objects up, and well you could just change the amount of studs you move sometimes even then it can be a hassle. I was originally going to add scaling grips so you can actually just click and drag to expand, but that prove to me more difficult for me then I thought.
The original idea of this plugin was to be able to easily expand a model the same way you can expand a truss part.
Well I think for most people, cloning will work perfectly fine.
Fair enough. It’s worth bearing it in mind. I was hoping for some exciting networking plugin that did something to do with communication or simulating it in studio in some new way.
Computer science and technology has a way of stealing words and associating a very specific thing with a very broad term to the point where it sort of overwrites the original meaning for a lot of people.
In most cases manually cloning works fine, but when you need to mass duplicate it would be faster to use the Replicator then manually mass clone.
Hey I just stumbled upon this and it’s exactly what I need. BUT, I could NOT find it under Plugin search!
