Recently I was using the creator dashboard to pay out 30 users robux through my group. While I was doing this, I made a mistake. I meant to pay out to a user with the username @I_DoStufff. However, I ended up paying a user with the display name I_DoStufff. Here is what I saw at the time:
The first user being what I should have selected. The second being who I mistakenly selected. My eyes being drawn to the more dominant “I_DoStufff”.
I accept the amount of robux lossed but hope to never make this mistake again as it was a significant amount of robux. I’m hoping for additional information on this page that would help me identify the correct user at a glance. I personally liked when this page used to display each user’s role underneath. Here is an image I found that shows how it used to look:
Here is how it looks now:
Here is how it could look:
Just one last thought: It seems these pages highlight a user’s display name rather than the username. Which I see as a problem as some of the users I pay out change their display name frequently. As shown in the first image, my eye was drawn to the more dominant “I_DoStufff” which was the display name. I do wonder if it’d be better to prioritize the username which can’t change.
Hope this is helpful.
