Requests tab missing on configure groups page

So I was browsing my groups, and this caught my eye. There’s one group that I own for some time now (approx a couple months) that does not show the “Requests” tab on the admin page. I cannot see it at all, it appears to be hidden or something alone those lines.

Here’s one of my groups that does have the menu:

And here is the group that is being buggy:

I do not know how easy to reproduce it is, as it is my group and I cannot vouch for others on this matter.

To be specific about the location: When you click on configure group in the group menu, then go to members: that is where the bug presents itself for me.

Is your group private or public? Anyone can join public groups, therefore the configuration pages for those groups don’t have a requests tab.

I just joined both of the groups and the group that you said was “buggy” is public and the other one is private.
I don’t think there would be a need to see the request tab on a public group so I’m sure this isn’t a bug.

After reviewing the group settings and noticing my group was, indeed, public: I switched it to private. This is when the requests tab appeared as it should have.
