Resizable Chat Window

Welcome to this post!

What is this?

This is a module created for make your chat window resizable for other users.

How can I get it?

You can get it by simply grabbing the model below!

How to set it up?

You just need to ungroup the model into Chat and the window is now resizable!
**Note: This is for LegacyChatService only, not for TextChatService.
In the chat modules, you can also customize other things of the Chat.

Are you able to send any video demonstrations on this?

They should make it a rule to provide image/video demonstrations of resources.

Will add a video shortly to the original post.

The video has been added, check it out in the original post.

This looks great. But do you know how to get Chat to show up? I only see TextChatService. Otherwise, I can’t put your model into Chat.
Thanks!

  1. Go into TextChatService properties
  2. Click in ChatVersion and a dropdown will appear
  3. Select LegacyChatService

Boom! That’s how you switch to LegacyChatService !

All this does is set a setting in the chat modules. This is uselsss.

However, I helped out some people that wanted to make it resizable. I didn’t need your comment.

It’s as simple as using a quick google search on how to resize the legacy chat window. You don’t need to reinvent the wheel dude.

This is a neat module but once thing.

Can you add resizing to TextChatService since
LegacyChatService is deprecated?

I will try to make a support for that too.

LegacyChatService is not deprecated.

For now, there is no way to make the new chat system window resizable.

LegacyChatService is deprecated according to the documentation.

This class is being deprecated. Use TextChatService instead.

The features are disabled and discounted, you need modules for it now.
However they meant discounted.

What do you mean by discounted?

and you don’t need modules to make it work…?

And yes it is getting deprecated (although I don’t think it’s marked as deprecated)

Yeah, It’s not marked as deprecated. Everything still works fine.

I’m pretty sure he means “discontinued”
