For two days now I’m unable to build my map because resizing anything freezes Studio for a couple of seconds and then expands the part by a tiny amount. This makes building downright impossible. My team members have the same issue so it’s not just me. Can this be fixed? I can’t wait weeks for a patch without working.
Edit: Dragging the sliders for painting size or other terrain tools also freezes Studio and goes by in increments of one every 2-3 seconds.

What are your PC specs?
Character Limit.
I doubt it’s my specs, I had no issues at all before the update and I didn’t change anything about my rig. I’m using a pretty decent PC and I never struggled with Studio before. It really only started since the update, and as I said my team has the exact same issue, with different PC’s all around.
If it really was a hardware issue then multiple pieces of hardware malfunctioned in different parts of the world all at once.
I tried reverting back to an older version, which didn’t work (it seems to now always automatically launch you back to the current version), I tried different Experiences, I tried reinstalling, I even tried a different PC on my friends’ house, who never had Studio installed before. The issue remains, so we can rule hardware out.
I’m asking for your specs because I had a similar issue. Usually it’s your CPU’s latency spiking randomly when moving the camera, try installing a smooth camera plugin. - solved the issue for me.
Oh, I think you misunderstood my problem then. I don’t have any issues with the camera. My problem is that if I click on a part for example and want to resize it, the whole Studio freezes up and sizes the part one pixel every 3 seconds or so. It makes building impossible.
The same happens if I want to size down the Paint tool, I try to drag the slider down to 1 and it just freezes the Studio for 3 seconds, going down in increments of 1. I also noticed that the game itself freezes every now and then since the update. We didn’t change anything to the live version in that timeframe so it can’t be an issue from our side.
Try a clean reinstall of Studio, and if that doesn’t fix anything, maybe the Roblox software engineers pushed an update that broke something again.
Sorry if I’m not helpful and wasting your time
It’s alright, you are only trying to help and I’m grateful!
I did a clean re-install as I wrote above and sadly it didn’t fix the issue. I might just have to wait for a fix then, as we can’t work on the game like this.
