Response to code safety review discussion

A bit off-putting. Having my personal code scanned is not something that any other game engine to my knowledge would perform against its users. This makes me feel strongly discouraged, and forces me to potentially consider other game engines, as it will be in the back of my mind on Roblox that my code is being scanned. It’s an infringement upon my privacy, even if stated in the TOS or Privacy Policy. I understand it will help prevent inappropriate games, filter bypasses, and code harmful to the user from being published, but even so it is a weight that comes with positives and negatives.

Perhaps I missed something, but I don’t know if obfuscated code or private/friend only games were addressed as being included to warrant review.

Of course with them given this kind of access, stuff like this happens.
I’m dying to know if this leak was from one of these special team members?

Hard to feel safe pouring your time, talent and energy into a platform where it can all vanish because of a bad bot wrongfully flagging, a moderator that is so overworked they ignore you or now a staff member with access to a back panel selling everyone out.
