Any idea how I could revert back to the box selection?

Click File → Beta Features ; Scroll down until you find “Improved Selection” and disable it.

I’m being told this is being forced now. So, now what?
roblox should add the option they did to material service like “disable2022materials” there SHOULD BE A “disable2023selectionbox” in studio settings

Only solution is to make it bit better by enabling Bounding Box, other than that there is no way as it is no longer Beta - it is public…
Or someone need make plugin to re-make old bounding box.

Yes that could be the solution as well but that will take some time
